Singer-songwriter Antía Muíño is part of a new generation that understands song as a space for truth. Her sound is warm and contemporary, where emotion reigns and every lyric invites you to pause for a moment.
Antía Muíño is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, one of the most important voices in the new Iberian song movement. In her music, the echoes of the voices of her native Galicia resonate alongside singer-songwriter music, jazz, and pop.
Classically trained, Antía also grew up linked to traditional Galician music and, at the same time, discovered and delved into other styles, mainly jazz and Ibero-American popular music. This eclecticism makes her an artist who is difficult to classify, who seeks to escape labels and clichés and who swims without complexes between all these waters to transmit a versatile and multifaceted voice, at the same time deeply personal and singular.
Her first work, Carta Aberta (2022), becomes a small phenomenon within the circuit, exceeding two million reproductions on the platforms and leading the artist to present it in numerous points of the state geography, as well as internationally in Portugal, Morocco or the Czech Republic. With this album, Antía writes new lines for Iberian author music, consolidating herself not only as one of the voices of the “new Galician song”, but also as a reference of alternative author song.
Anfibia Por Veces (2026) is the title of her second work, an eclectic and surprising album in which the artist explores new sounds and elevates the intimate style and acoustic sound that characterize her. This album is the result of a joint work with the outstanding Galician producer Hevi, (Malandrómeda, Caamaño&Ameixeiras, Mondra, Novedades Carminha) and in it the artist reflects on great universal themes such as identity, love, the search for oneself or the feeling of belonging. Antía also claims the role of women as creators and instrumentalists, including collaborations with prominent musicians from the Galician scene, such as Lilaina, Brassica Rapa and Margarida Mariño.
A regular collaborator of Baiuca and part of the Barullo tour, Antía has also worked with other artists such as Xabier Díaz, Las Migas, Caamaño&Ameixeiras, Mondra, the Basque Süne or the Brazilian ZéVitor. In 2024, she joins forces with pianist Abe Rábade to release a double-sided EP, Vente vindo / Eu en ti, in which both artists unite their sensibilities around original music and jazz.
Among the many places where he has performed live are the San Sebastián Jazz Festival (Heineken Jazzaldia), Veranos de la Villa, Inverfest and Sound Isidro (Madrid), Os Xoves de Códax, Jazz ao Norte, Festival Maré, Festival de la Luz, Festival do Pasatemo, Surfing The Lérez (Galicia), Atlantikaldia, Bidasoafolk and Urdufolk (Euskadi), and Festival N2, Noroeste, IKFEM and MUMI in Portugal. In the year 2023, she presents the LP Carta Aberta in numerous points of the state geography, being selected by the AIE (Association of Interpreters and Performers) to tour throughout the State.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Cervantes Institute and AIE, she toured Morocco and was also selected to participate in the largest music fair in Africa: Visa For Music (Rabat). She also took part in the Iberian Waves festival in Prague (Czech Republic) and participated in the Radio 3 Concerts, with her performance being broadcast on RTVE 2.

Antía holds a degree in Performance (specializing in Guitar) from the Superior Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene). This training has provided her with a solid foundation both technically and interpretively, working on the instrument with precision, musical judgment and the discipline of daily study.
Thanks to this journey, he approaches the guitar not only as an accompaniment, but as an essential part of the performance: taking care of the sound, the nuances and the way of constructing each song with intention and coherence.
